"Thank you for inquiring about Children's Enrichment Center (CEC), where we have provided quality Christian early childhood education in Santa Cruz county since 1975! It is our goal to provide a loving environment and partner with you parents to foster spiritual, physical, social, emotional and cognitive development in your children. Our students thrive and succeed with our professional staff of nurturing educators, Christ-centered age-appropriate curriculum, and low teacher-to-child ratios. We understand that each child is special and unique, and feel blessed to have the opportunities to inspire the joy of learning and exploring early in life. We are certain your family will appreciate all that CEC has to offer and the nurturing community that instills the grace of Jesus Christ. Suzanne Blyston
Director
Suzanne Blyston has been the Director of Children's Enrichment Center since 1999. She received a Bachelor's degree and a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from San Jose State University. She holds a Child Development Site-Supervisor and Program Director permit. Previously, Suzanne taught at Pajaro Valley Unified School District for eight years. Suzanne is passionate about creating a learning environment that gives children the opportunity to explore, create and enrich their lives with learning while having fun. She realizes how special these early years are and the positive impact a teacher can have on their growth. She is a passionate educator and a mother of two adult children who are CEC alumni!

CEC STAFF
Our CEC Staff are the heart of the school! Our Teachers are highly trained individuals with a commitment to Early Childhood Education. We have a caring and fun team that bring a variety of skills, knowledge and enthusiasm to each school day. We have CEC Staff that have been a part of CEC program for 30+ years and staff that are CEC alumni!

All our Preschool Teachers have obtained the appropriate teaching certification under the Department of Education. Prior to beginning employment, each employee undergoes State Bureau of Investigation and Child Protective Services background check and finger prints. All of the staff at CEC participate in ongoing training to further advance their skills.
